Information we Collect
Examples of personal information we collect include: names, email addresses, phone and mobile numbers. We collect the minimum data necessary for our purposes.
Quest does not intentionally collect any sensitive information via the Site unless legally required to do so, for example, for recruitment purposes. Sensitive information includes information or opinion about such things as an individual’s racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, membership of a political association, religious or philosophical beliefs, membership of a trade union or other professional body, criminal record or health information.
Sensitive information will be used by us only:
- For the primary purpose for which it was obtained;
- For a secondary purpose that is directly related to the primary purpose;
- With your consent; or
- Where required or authorised by law.
How we Collect the Information
We will collect personal information from you in a variety of ways. For example: when you use our services, when we deal with you in person or over the phone, when you send us correspondence (including via email), when you complete a form or survey, when you subscribe to our email list and publications, or when you use the Site.
When we collect personal Information we will, where appropriate and where possible, explain to you why we are collecting the information and how we plan to use it.
Where reasonable and practicable to do so, we will collect your personal information only from you. However, in some circumstances we may be provided with information by third parties. Use of Information
Your personal information will be used to fulfil contractual obligations with you, to protect your vital interests and to further the legitimate interests of Quest (such as for purposes of direct marketing to you if you have used our services previously). We may also use it to manage and improve this Site and to seek feedback on our services. We may use your data for the purposes of profiling (a form of automated data processing used to predict matters relating to an individual) to pursue our legitimate interests.
At this stage, Quest does not intend to use your personal information for automated decision making, i.e. decision making based solely on automated processing with no human involvement in the decision process.
We may use your personal information for secondary purposes closely related to the purpose for which we were engaged, in circumstances where you would reasonably expect such use or disclosure. We are unlikely to disclose personal information to third parties or overseas recipients.

Storage and Security
Your personal information, whether stored electronically and/or in hard copy, is stored in an up-to-date manner that reasonably protects it from misuse and loss and from unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. Our staff are aware of data protection guidelines. We will pseudonymise personal data as soon as possible.
The transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. We cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to our online services; any transmission is at your own risk.
When your personal information is no longer needed for the purpose for which it was obtained, we will take reasonable steps to destroy or permanently de-identify your personal information. However, most of the personal information is or will be stored in client files which will be kept by us for a minimum of seven years.
If you no longer wish for Quest to collect your personal data, you may request for your personal data to be deleted by contacting us through the Let’s Connect page of the Site. You have the right to object to data processing, and request that it cease. You have the right to object to profiling or automated decision-making that could affect you.
You may access the personal information we hold about you and update and/or correct it, subject to certain exceptions. If you wish to access your personal information, please contact us in writing via the Let’s Connect page of the Site.
Quest will not charge any fee for your access request. In order to protect your personal information, we may require identification from you before releasing the requested information.
Maintaining the Quality of your Personal Information
It is important to us that your personal information is up to date. We will take reasonable steps to make sure that your personal information is accurate, complete and up-to-date.
If you find that the information we have is not up to date or is inaccurate, please advise us as soon as practicable via the Let’s Connect page of the Site so we can update our records and ensure we can continue to provide quality services to you.
Because of the nature of our business, it is generally impracticable for us to deal with individuals on an anonymous basis or through the use of a pseudonym.
If a data breach occurs, where it is likely to result in a risk for the rights and freedoms of individuals’, you will be notified within 72 hours of the data controllers becoming aware of the breach. We will additionally report this breach to the relevant local authority.

If Quest becomes aware of any ongoing concerns or problems concerning our privacy practices, we will take these issues seriously and work to address these concerns.
Quest may use your personal information for the purpose of marketing its services or providing newsletters. If you do not want to receive marketing materials from Quest, you can unsubscribe at the bottom of our emails or contact us via the Let’s Connect page of the Site.
This Policy is not intended for use by children. We understand the importance of protecting children’s information, particularly in an online environment, and we do not knowingly collect or maintain information about children.
