- focused attention on a critical business theme e.g. productivity, growth or simplification
- drive for short term results – typically within 60 days
- emotional and practical engagement of work teams to ensure they are committed and equipped to deliver results
- facilitated high impact events to launch the drive for results
- transfer of the improvement technology to spread it across the client organisation
