Change management is much talked about but really good examples of organisations being purposefully transformed are quite rare. We at Quest are lucky to have worked closely with inspirational leaders prepared to take on whole-company transformations. Seeing people at all levels creating positive change in their organisations, and taking responsibility for it, is very uplifting. It is why consultancy is such a rewarding occupation.
Steve has worked with organisations of all types, sizes and cultures in his thirty years of management consulting. Steve learned about management during eight years at Chrysler and, after a spell of lecturing at Aston University, plunged into the consulting world as a human resources consultant with PA Consulting. Rising at PA to Director with a global practice, Steve refocused on large scale change management and founded Quest to specialise in this area.
Although Steve has implemented change programmes for giant global corporations, he believes that organisational best practice can be applied by leaders, managers and work teams in any kind of organisation. His main interest is helping clients build the internal capability to drive their organisations to the highest competitive standards.
Steve has a PhD in Ergonomics from Nottingham University and a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from Bradford University.
