It’s helping groups of managers, small or large, solve tough problems or create exciting solutions that I get a kick out of. Helping them analyse the problem, create the solution and support them as they implement it are what keeps me going. The method of doing it is important as well – it has to be engaging and fun, whilst practical and outcome oriented.
Having migrated to Australia from the USA in 1981, Rod joined Quest in 1997 after 14 years with Wilson Learning, the last three years as VP Consulting Services. His assignments at Quest have included executing business strategy, culture change, management and leadership development and continuous improvement strategies. He currently leads Quest's enterprise and innovation practice.
Rod's industry experience covers information technology, telecommunication, banking and finance, pharmaceuticals, energy, mining and manufacturing. He has been extensively involved in business development and consulting in Australia's top 100 companies.
Based in Sydney Rod continues to consult extensively throughout Australia, New Zealand and Asia.
Rod is a Psychologist and has utilised his Behavioural Sciences education in the treatment of returned drug dependant Vietnam Veterans in the US and Europe.
