Retaining talent
Two recent reports have confirmed facts that we have been increasingly aware of in recent years. A US State Dept. Report asserts that: “The most important resource over the next twenty years will be talent: Smart, sophisticated business people who are technologically literate, globally astute and operationally agile,” while the UK Leitch Review emphasises: “CEOs that fail to make talent management a strategic imperative NOW could find themselves and their companies casualties of an increasingly competitive and global environment.” It will be, for many of the organisations with which we work, one of the biggest challenges for the future and setting in place effective talent management processes is critical.
