How Quest Worldwide used WorkSmart for Results™ to help MasTec improve employee retention
MasTec is a leading speciality contractor for communications companies, utilities and governments throughout the United States and Canada. The organisation utilises the skills and intelligence of more than 9,000 employees in upwards of 200 locations to provide customers with responsive and efficient services. Operating in industries where employee turnover is way above the national average and loyalty is virtually unknown, MasTec rated employee turnover as a major business issue and the highest priority for improvement. Having previously worked with Quest Worldwide, MasTec asked for support in addressing this challenge. A WorkSmart for Results™ methodology with High Impact Event principles was recommended - the result would be a dynamic 100 day project designed to focus effort on achieving the goal of 30% reduction in employee turnover.
