Following a successful career with the Lucas Group, Alun started his consulting career in the PA Group, latterly running a Regional Business Unit. He joined Gemini Consulting, where as a Senior Vice President and member of the Leadership Team, he partnered with more than 40 leading organisations to fully engage their people in transforming business performance. On acquisition by the Cap Gemini Group, he joined the Executive Committee of this European giant employing 60,000 people, reporting directly to the CEO as Head of Strategic Business Development responsible for major programmes. More recently Alun worked in financial services as UK Sales and Marketing Director for one of the world’s largest insurance brokers and played a leading role in the reorganisation of the business.  

Alun has worked from the shop floor to the Boardroom in all sizes and types of organisations, ranging from global goliaths such as BT, ICI and Vodafone, to small family run businesses. He believes that it is critical to engage people fully in any business change, not only to make the change happen more successfully but to build the internal capability to achieve an enduring high performance culture. 

Alun has a BSc (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering from Leeds University, an ACCA Certified Diploma in Accounting and Finance and is a Member of the Institute of Directors and past Fellow of the Institute of Management Consultants.
