Herman Van Herterijck is a seasoned leader with broad experience in fast moving consumer goods (especially Food) who became a consultant because of his passion for leading change and inspiring people. He has specific extensive experience in revitalizing businesses in Pan-European companies (including M&As), both in B2B and B2C. Herman joined Quest Worldwide in 2007 as an Associate Director, after a working relationship as a client with Quest spanning more than a decade in various roles at Unilever.
Topics dealt with are strategy development, strategic planning, operational execution and people development. He has particular strength in implementing corporate initiatives at national-divisional level. He has a record of reshaping businesses through people engagement, creating buy-in, focus on sustainable delivery and making strategies work effectively. His broad business background includes general/country and divisional management, supply chain, finance, marketing and international sales. He is special interested in multi-cultural environments where change-management is the challenge.
Herman has a Master of Engineering in Environmental Mgmt, Master of Engineering in Food Technology and an MBA from KUL-Belgium. He also graduated on the Advanced Management Program at Harvard and is a non-executive director on several boards.
