Corporate Responsibility
As an independently-owned organisation Quest Worldwide takes a responsible approach to how we do business and, rather than being an "add-on" policy, we try to make this central to how we operate in all aspects of our work.
Our size and structure means that we do not have the large scale community or environmental impact of a giant multinational, but our global reach and ability to work all over the world does give us a global view.
Our approach is one of ethical, responsible practices which allow us to achieve success while treating all stakeholders - employees, suppliers, clients and communities - fairly.
In our expertise area of Operational Excellence, our work regularly enables clients to reduce wastage by increasing efficiency in processes. In the case of major, industrial clients this potentially has a dramatic impact on environmental issues.
Within our own business we minimise waste, recyle and ensure that we use recycled materials where possible. We take responsible decisions regarding travel, using virtual meetings and teleconferences where relevant.
Quest's head office, at The Manor House in Godalming, Surrey, is the focus of our environmental and community policy as it is our largest base. Our support of charities centres around this community and The Manor House, as a conference centre, has an extensive policy on environmental issues and has won awards for its success in this field. This commitment covers factors as wide ranging as the installation of a grey-water recycling system to sourcing produce from local suppliers. More on this commitment can be seen on The Manor House's own website or downloaded here.
